Tracey is a passionate learning facilitator with over 30 years of experience in classroom and private tutoring environments. She has taught in both Montessori and Waldorf Schools in Canada and Australia and is a certified teacher with the BC Ministry of Education and Child Care.
The Nurtured Learner was developed with a vision to provide a nurturing learning environment where students receive individualized support, enabling them to meet and exceed their potential. With a certificate in Special Education and training in the Orton-Gillingham approach, Tracey is skilled at differentiating learning to address diverse needs and meet students where they are developmentally, socially and academically.

The Orton-Gillingham approach is a highly structured program that breaks down reading and spelling into smaller components involving letters and sounds, and then builds on these skills over time.
